Reserve the Traveling Trunk

Online Reservation Procedure -Credit Card Required

  1. Go to your local post office and provide them with the address of the Freedom Center (50 East Freedom Way, Cincinnati, Ohio 45202) along with the weight and dimensions (45 lbs, 28 inches x 20 inches x 17 inches) of the Trunk and ask what the shipping rate is via U.S. Mail - Library Rate.
  2. Complete the online reservation from below.

By submitting this form I agree to the following:

  • I understand that I am responsible for the shipping cost to receive and return the Traveling Trunk.
  • I understand that the Traveling Trunk is loaned to me for no more than 14-days, Monday-Monday period only. (Trunk will be shipped UPS to arrive by the scheduled Monday date, or it may be picked up from NURFC.)
  • I understand that if the Traveling Trunk is not returned within one week after my loan period, I will be billed $10.00 per day. If I do not return the Traveling Trunk within a month of the above date, I will be forwarded to a credit collection agency at the discretion of The National Underground Railroad Freedom Center.
  • Beyond general wear and tear, I understand if I damage any item(s) or if any item(s) are lost, I will be responsible for the cost of the item(s).
